Forestry Training

Forestry training guide (low → high) edit

This guide outlines methods for efficient progression training the Forestry skill. For general info, refer to the Forestry page.

Equipment edit

Hatchets are required to train Forestry, and higher tiers improve chop speed and XP rates. Always use the best hatchet available to your level.

Efficient Paths edit

Level Range Tree Product XP / chop Respawn Chops / tree Notes
1 → 10   Normal Tree   Logs 20 30 Ticks (18s) 3–10 Quick, early XP. Bank for startup coins or craft.
10 → 20   Pine Tree   Pine Logs 50 50 Ticks (30s) 3–10 More XP/chop, and decent demand from Crafting.
20 → 35   Oak Tree   Oak Logs 100 100 Ticks (60s) 8–30 Faster XP rate and good AFK windows from large chop counts.
35 → 45   Palm Tree   Palm Logs 150 150 Ticks (90s) 3–10 Solid XP, but smaller AFK windows. Decent demand from Crafting.
45 → 70+   Cherry Blossom Tree   Cherry Logs 225 300 Ticks (3m) 10–60 Good XP per chop and high chops/tree make it AFK-friendly. Typically high demand from Crafting.
70 → 85+   Wizard's Tree   Wizard Logs 265 400 Ticks (4m) 10–60 High XP per chop. Good AFK cadence per tree.
85+   Deadwood Tree   Deadwood Logs 300 500 Ticks (5m) 5–30 Highest XP per chop, and high XP rate. But, only located in Wastelands & fewer chops per tree.

Additional Methods edit

  • Chopping Money Trees (Level 60+)  : Produces   Lucky Logs and coins. Great for earning money, but yields only 80 XP per chop, making it less efficient xp than Cherry or Wizard’s Trees.

Tips edit

  • World-hop when necessary to avoid crowded areas.
  • Consider gathering high-demand logs for crafting or selling to generate income while training.
  • Train in less-popular areas to reduce competition and improve XP rates.
