Beachside fishing locations are found along the outer edges of the map. In addition to offering a variety of fish, beaches have the unique benefit of random items occasionally washing ashore. These can include Conch, Driftwood, Seaweed, Starfish, or even rare items like a Pirate's Key or Message In A Bottle.
