The Precious Metal Chest is located in Hedgecastle, inside the Precious Metal Plating Services building. Unlocking the chest grants 205 
experience and it respawns every 250 Ticks (2.5m). Due to the respawn rate, it has a maximum potential of 6,000 experience per hour.
This chest also has a rare chance to drop plated helmets in addition to its standard coin reward.
